31 years old

I turned 31 today. Wow. I had a great day. We went to Fogo de Chao for lunch, a real treat. It was goooo-od. Before that though, we found out that Katerina most definitely has hypoglycemia. We thought she was sick, & I had slept in and came downstairs at about 11 after scrapping for a couple of hours. Well...she was laying on the couch, complaining of how cold she was, completely covered, which is so unlike her, even her feet were covered for pete's sake. She was also sweating profusely, abnormally for a 3 year old and she had no fever. She was quite literally, comatose. I realized this after sitting with her and realized that she was completely awake, but laying with her eyes closed, completely unmoving. After discussing it for a bit, Rick finally mentions that she had no dinner the night before. I knew she had not eaten breakfast but he has done that before without her almost dying....so I mention the hypoglycemia, and he claims that he didn't know that the DOCTOR actually told me she had it, but the diagnosis was unconfirmed blah blah blah, he's a male. He is now utterly convinced. He gave her two glasses of chocolate with a side of milk in them, 2 cookies, and she was fine! But all that sugar goes right through her, and by the time she got to Fogo's she was cold again, outside in the 100 degree Houston heat. Unbelievable. We did finally get her to eat, and she is fine. But this will NOT happen again.
